Clinical Trial of MRI-Guided Focused Ultrasound at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, October 2021
A radiopharmaceutical developed by Dr. Raymond Reilly and LMIR has allowed researchers to demonstrate the first ever safe delivery of an antibody therapy across the blood-brain barrier using MRI-guided focused ultrasound. Many thanks to Dr. Conrad Chan and Dr. Zhongli Cai for preparing the radiopharmaceutical in the clinical trial. |

Director of the Center of Pharmaceutical Oncology (CPO)
Professor Reilly has been appointed the director of the Center of Pharmaceutical Oncology (CPO). CPO is one of the new research centres being established at the Faculty of Pharmacy. The mission of the CPO is to bridge discoveries in cancer biology to clinical trials of new therapeutics and diagnostics for cancer. |
